Facebook recently introduced the new "Crisis Donation Button" that allows people to give donations following events of natural disaster or terror. Once Facebook receives the money, they send it to a nonprofit called GlobalGiving that decides where the money is needed most. Facebook's goal is to make it easier for people to help their community and give back. I think this is a great feature and will increase donations. People will see their friends making donations and want to be a part of the cause. Also, I find that sometimes I hesitate to donate because I don't know how trustworthy the source is, and Facebook provides a safe and honest place for people to give back. I would definitely use this feature.
